Mrs. Ezola Willis Hopson's Obituary
Ezola Willis Hopson was born in Meridian, MS on June 2, 1929 to the late Blanche Jones and Wilson Willis. Ezola was the second of five children. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, where she joined New Hope Baptist Church. She was a devoted member of the usher board. Ezola lived a noble life. She loved helping her family, especially babysitting her nephews and nieces. She was. Homemaker that loved cooking. Mrs. Ezola was a devoted mother of two sons.
Ezola completed her journey in Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, after a lengthy illness.
Ezola was preceded in death by: her parents; two sons: Charles Lee Willis and Charles Edward Willis; one brother, Henry Willis; one sister, Mamie C. Moss; and two brothers-in-law, L.C. Moss Sr. and Gus Dillard, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: one bother, J.L. (Rosie) Willis and one sister, Thelma Louise Dillard, both of Meridian, MS; one God so, JoMayo “My Baby” Sanford also of Meridian, MS.
A host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
