Mrs. Fannie Kate Morgan's Obituary
Fannie Kate Morgan was born on August 16, 1933 to the late Fletcher and Aria Burge in Kemper, MS. She was the second of eight children. She attended Tabernacle School. She was preceded in death by her.husband George Morgan and three sons. Fannie worked and lived a meaningful life while helping and caring for loved ones. Her children, grandchildren, and neighbors loved her equally. She never missed an opportunity to help someone in need, whether it be a quick check-in or a nice meal. One of her favorite pastimes was walking around the neighborhood and checking on family members. Fannie Kate Morgan departed this life on December 11, 2019 at her residence surrounded by family. She was a member of the Little Hope Baptist Church until she moved to Jackson, MS to live with her daughter Renee and her husband Andre' a because of her failing health. She was sick with dementia for years until God called her home. She leaves to cherish her memories ... Sons: Benny Lee Burge (St. Petersburg, FL) George Morgan Jr. (Annie), Arthur Lee Morgan and James Edward Morgan (Rose) of Toomsuba, MS Daughters: Fannie Mae & Teresa Lynn Morgan of Toomsuba, MS, Renee Houston (Andre'a) of Jackson, MS Sisters: Lucy Chappel, Queenesta Flowers (John), and Dorothy Davis of St. Petersburg, FL 27 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends The family of Fannie Kate Morgan would like to express sincere gratitude to one special grandchild. Solomon D' Angelo Morgan took it as a personal duty to take care of his grandmother every day and ensure that she had everything she needed. He gave up some of the best years of his life to ensure that her quality of life was at its best and stayed by her side until the very end. His sacrifice will never be undone and can never be repaid.
