Ms. Felicia Boyd's Obituary
Felicia entered this world on October 18, 1969, in Meridian, MS to Alvin and Earline Clay and claimed the title of being the "baby" of the Clay clan. She received her education through the Meridian Public School System. Felicia graduated from Meridian High School in the year of 1987. She attended Meridian Community College and received an Associate Degree in Business. Felicia was employed with various establishments during her younger years. She was hired in the late 90's with Magnolia Steel and
she served as a dedicated employee until her untimely demise.
Lisa, as she was known by many, loved her church. She had the voice of an angel and served as the Minister of Music for over 20 plus years. Felicia was a perfectionist when it came to making sure the music was on point each Sunday morning. She had an ear that could pick up a wrong note miles away. Her signature "nose spread, eye bucking, and finger pointing" was the cue given when she wasn't pleased with the sound. She was our "Sunday's Best" and will be greatly missed.
Felicia leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Bianca Boyd; her parents, Rev. Alvin & Earline Clay; a devoted sister, Sheila (Luther) Serton; four brothers, Wayne Clay, Curtis Clay, Bruce (Bernette) Clay, and Bobby (Exzenia) Clay; special cousin/brother, Reginald Harbour; her bestie, Detra (Freeman) Miller; special friend, Milton Horne; and host of nieces, nephews, friends, and church family who will miss her dearly.
