Mrs. Felishia Jenkins Porter's Obituary
Felishia Jenkins Porter was born in East St. Louis, IL on April 10, 1967, the fifth child to Flora Nicholson. She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Jenkins and Grandmother Lula B. Gayfield.
Felishia accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Wahalak until her health failed.
On December 24, 2009, she married Adolf Porter and was happily married for 13 years. Her earthly journey came to an end on September 15, 2022 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Felishia leaves to cherish her wonderful and devoted husband, Adolf Porter; 3 children: LaShanna Jenkins, Quarderek Jenkins, and Jacquez Cole, all of Scooba, MS; her mother, Flora Nicholson of Scooba, MS; 6 sisters: Mamie (Odell) Walker of Philadelphia, MS; Cynthia (Andre) Thomas of Forth Worth, TX; Sharon (Otis) Jennings of Meridian, MS; Althea Cherry of Porterville, MS; Kathy Wooten of Scooba, MS; and Dedra Nicholson of Scooba, MS; 5 brothers: Glenn Cherry of Washington Park, IL; Charles (Samantha) Wooten of Webster, KY; Cedrick (Crystal) Wooten of Graniteville, SC; Andreco (Amber) Wooten of Porterville, MS; and Lonnie Wooten of Meridian, MS; 8 grandchildre: Aariea, Unteria, Zaiden, Kyrie, Zariah, Kylie, Ziyon, and Dior; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
