Mr. Floyd Davis Hearn's Obituary
Floyd Davis Hearn was called by many names, such as brother, son, Husband and Uncle. However, none of these names were as sweet as the name Jesus called him "My Child". On Monday September 15, 2014 God called for him to come home and gain rest. Floyd lived the last years of his life surrounded by loving siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. Floyd was born in DeKalb MS to the late Wesley and Daisy Hearn, but lived a large portion of his life in Los Angeles, CA. While there he made many friends and cherished memories. When his health began to fail, Floyd returned home in 1997. Upon his return he joined Mt Zion Baptist under the Pastorate of Reverend Sammie Bourrage. Floyd leaves to cherish his six sisters Ruby Harris, Meridian, MS: Vallie Adams, Jenell Jordan, Annie Sue White, and Betty Lue Summerlin all of Detroit, Ml; Ann Hearn, Gulfport, MS; five brothers Hosea Hearn (Theodia), Cleveland, OH; Henry Hearn (Amanda) , Robert Hearn, Lamar Hearn, Albert Hearn all of Detroit, Ml. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by two(2 ) wives Johnnie Mae and Maxine, his parents Wes and Daisy, five( 5) sisters and four(4) brothers.
