Mrs. Frances Roundtree's Obituary
Frances H. Roundtree was born on August 16, 1953 in Meridian, MS to the late Martha Stinson and R.B. Moore. On Thursday, April 23, 2020, while at her home, God chose to call her home for her appointed time had arrived.
Frances was educated in the Meridian Public School System. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church until her death. Frances lived life to the fullest. Those who had the honor of knowing Frances knew she was always ready to make someone laugh. She truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grand children.
Frances was preceded in death by: her mother, Martha Stinson; father, R.B. Moore; aunt, Jessie Wood-Epps; sister: Bobbie Jean Phillips; and grandson, Randarious Smith.
She leaves to celebrate her new life in heaven and to cherish her loving and precious memories: a loving and devoted husband, Johnnie Roundtree; six daughters: Stephanie Smith, Tracey Avery (Johnny), Sabrina Barfield (Terrell), Keesha Shack, Latoya Hooker (Larry) and Victoria Brooks; two sons: Jerry Phillips and Quincy Cole (Kyenya); one brother: McCary Smith (Gloria); two half-sisters: Debbie Clayton Evans and Diane Glenn Alford; one aunt: Jackie Moore; a special nephew/son, Robert (Hank) Philips (Patricia) of Powder Springs, GA; a very special cousin, Henry Granger; three very close and special friends: Evelyn Cole, Sandra Jenkins and Twyonia Gale; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
