Mr. Frank Price Jr.'s Obituary
Frank Price Jr., affectionately known as "The Rainmaker", was born December 26, 1949 to Frank Price Sr. and Annie Florence Overstreet Price of Enterprise, Mississippi. Frank accepted Christ at an early age, at Magnolia United Methodist Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Webbs. Frank attended and graduated from Central High School in Enterprise, Mississippi. He was an outstanding basketball player and also excelled in football. Upon graduation, Frank left Enterprise, Mississippi and migrated north to Chicago, Illinois where he worked various jobs before owning his own Trucking Company, Val Haul Trucking. He drove for 44 plus years. He was also a master Craftsman. He mastered every task he attempted. Frank's passion in life was his family. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, Gardener and a heck of a family counselor. During his professional driving career, Frank met and married the love of his life of 17 years, Gilda Jackson, of Iowa City Iowa, by way of New Orleans, Louisiana. His legacy will live on through loving memories held by those whom he loved. His children: Carlette(Herman), Le Sueur, Dion, Annay(Aaron), LeQuetia, Shena(Rick). Three brothers: George Henry(Kathy), JC(Lilly), Jerry(Thelma). Three sisters: Bobbi Jo, Ellen, Annie Pearl(Harry James). One Aunt Ruby Stone. A host of grandkids, two great grandkids, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Including three special friends, Jamal, Willie Ford and Pastor Frazier Funches. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Annie Florence Overstreet and Frank Price Sr. One brother, Larry Price and three sisters, Betty Jean, Peggy Jean, and Carolyn McGowan.
