Mr. Fred Foley's Obituary
Fred Foley was born on February 14, 1950 in Rosehill, Mississippi. He was the fifth sibling of eight children born to the late Williams and Mittie Lee Foley of Rosehill, MS.
During his childhood, Bro. Fred Foley joined New Prospect Baptist Church. As an adult, he was a member and trustee at First Baptist Church of Enterprise, MS. He received his education from North Side School in Rosehill, MS. Fred Foley was employed by Burlington Denim Factory for over 29 years and afterwards, worked as a custodian at Enterprise Elementary School. He was loved and respected by many people in the community. He took time out of his day to help individuals in need. Fred Foley was fun to be around and he knew how to make everyone laugh.
On Monday, August 29 2016, Fred Foley departed his life in Enterprise, MS. He was preceded in death by his father, William Opis Foley, his mother- Mittie Lee Foley, his brothers- Andrew Foley and Robert Lee Foley, and his sister, Mary Thomas.
Bro. Fred Foley leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter- James a Foley McSwain (Eliud); one grandson- Ethan Bernard McSwain of Laurel, MS; two brothers- Robert Earl Foley of Enterprise, MS and Roosevelt Foley of Hickory, MS; two sisters- Annie Chambliss of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Josephine Foley of Enterprise, MS; one special nephew, David Thomas of Enterprise, MS and a host of other relatives and friends.
