Mr. Fred Johnson, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Fred Johnson Jr., age 69, was born to the late Fred Johnson Sr., and the late Lillie M. Johnson, in Meridian, MS on July 27th, 1949.
He attended the Meridian Public School System, in which he graduated from T.J. Harris High School. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. Where he received his Honorable Discharge on August 26th, 1969.
He joined Greater Calvary Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, under the leadership of Reverend W.M. Weatherspoon.
He departed this life on December 30th, 2018 at his residence peacefully.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his two daughters; Tersea (Devon) Scott, of Meridian, MS and Darcey Henderson, of Chicago, IL. One sister, Shirleen Jordan of Sandusky, OH. Two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, who loved him dearly.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, Fred was preceded in death by two brothers: Samuel Johnson and Houston Johnson, three sisters: Mirleen Ellis, Maggie Clay, and Debora (Peanut) Ellis Bolden, and one niece: Timeki Clay.
