Freddie Jordan was born January 17, 1951 in Jasper County, Ms to the Late Odessa Scott Jordan Berry and John Henry Jordan Sr. He departed life on April 13, 2018 at his residence in Chicago, IL. In 1969, he graduated from South Side High School in Heidelberg, MS. Freddie joined the United States Air Force in 1970. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He loved to write stories and recite poetry. He was preceded in death by his parents Odessa Scott Jordan Berry and John H. Jordan Sr., Step-father Dennis Berry, Sr; two brothers: Andrew & John H. Jordan Jr. and one sister: Bama Ruth Williams.

Three sisters: Lee Eunice(Jessie) Kirk, Laurel, MS; Merlinda Berry, Pachuta, MS, & Sandy (Terry) Davis, Jackson, MS; Three brothers: Major Peter (Betty) Berry, Palahatchie, MS; Dandy (Crystal) Berry, New Orleans, LA & Michael (Zoe) Berry, Lawton, OK; Three Step-sisters: Essie Mae (Jimmy) Garrett, Daisy (Val) Clay,, Mattie (Jerry) Brown, Four step-brothers: Dennis (Olga) Berty, Jimmy Dale, William (Rase') Berry, anal Johnny Rush, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
