Mr. Fredrick Seals' Obituary
On July 27, 1957, a son, Fredrick Seals, was born to the late Willie and Mary Cherry Seals in Meridian, MS. He attended the Meridian Public Schools and graduated from Meridian High School. He served his county in the military. After leaving the Army, he entered the medical field and received training as a Registered Nurse. The family left Meridian and lived in several states. Fredrick decided to move to San Bernadino, CA where he lived for several years with his kids, step-kids and grand kids. Frederick was a member of the 10th avenue Church of God for several years. He was very fond of his nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as near relatives. Wanting to be closer to the family, he moved back to Meridian, MS. He loved life with a passion and was always telling jokes. He also loved to travel. He played the keyboard and was a member of the male chorus. He moved to Brandon, MS, when his health began to fail and resided with his cousin, Allison and Kim Naylor. He spent his last days in Brandon, MS. On Thursday, February 7, 2019 he was called from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Cherry Seals and Willie Seals; his sister, Marsh Seals Johnson; three brothers, Henry C. Seals, Michael Seals and Willie R. Seals; four aunts Jeanette Jack, Georgette Grady, Geraldine Hunter, Eunice Naylor, four uncles, Leroy Cherry, Jimmy Cherry, Thomas Cherry; one niece, Michelle Seals and one nephew, Marcus Spencer. He leaves to cherish his memories three sons: Lashawn Gordon, Las Vegas, NV and Cory Gordon, San Bernardino, CA and Jeremiah, Las Vegas, NV; one daughter, Brittney Schmidt, Las Vegas, NV; two step daughters, Twane Gordon and Keisha Gordon, San Bernadine, CA; two sisters, Peggy Spencer (Charles) Meridian, MS and Pamela (Henry) Ruffin of Meridian, MS; one brother, Mark Seals (Dana) of Atlanta, GA; one nephew, Michael Seals; one uncle, Johnny Cherry, eight grandchildren, Brycen Gordon, Maycen Gordon, Malika Gordon, Savannah Gordon, Caiden Gordon, Johnnie Gordon and Jayden Jeremiah Seals and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friend Jody Norwood of Meridian, MS.
