Mr. Ga'Kobie Kamari Jones' Obituary
Ga'Kobie Kamari Jones, 19, left us on October 12,2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson Though he left this world too soon, he left this world a better place. Ga'Kobie was born on January 17, 2002 at Jeff Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian, MS to Ra'Christopher La'Trell and Simone Jones. He attended Meridian and Newton County Public Schools. He was baptized at an early age at Hubbard Bethlehm Missionary Baptist Church in wuderdale, MS. His personal interests included family, football, and being socially informed. He devoted much of his time and energy to his family and friends. His charm and smile brightened rooms as well as the people he came in contact with. He was preceded in death by his loving great gra,ndma, (Big Mama) Myrtle R. Jones. Ga' Kobie is survived by his mother, Simone Jones (David Windham), Father, Ra'Christopher Jones (Moriesha Durham), daughter; Kailey Butler, Son; Karter Jones (lndeya Smith), Grandmothers; Sharon Merriweather, Rose Jones, Cynthia (Ernest) Windham, Grandfathers; Samuel Merriweather, Billy Crowther, Aunts; Tamara (LL Gilliespie and Cena McNair, Uncles; Rodney Jones and Demond (Shannon) Shaw, Brothers; Egypt Jones, Christian and Chad Jones, Deandre Jones, Sisters; Keyona Windham and Carliyah Johnson, Cousins; Toriano, Latoria, Jecory, Jaloria Hudson and Keeley, KaDaishia and Keelan Gillespie, and a host of cousins, great aunts, uncles and friends. And a special thanks to Ms. Vanessa Jordan.
