Mr. Gene Otis Adams' Obituary
Heaven assigned an Angel on earth July16, 1942 who his parents the late Frank Adams and Minnie Mae Ferrell named Gene Otis Adams. He was baptized at an early age. He was employed ay Drinkwater Air Conditioning. After a long talk with God, he decided to become a business owner by bringing some good and clean fun and opened Adams Game room in 1982, where he started his very own save the land- by helping everyone who was in his sight and feeding animals that would eat. He also invested in his daughters first hair salon directly behind his game room. upon retiring, he steeled in to enjoy life with his lounge and he became a servant for the King, in which he diligently served as a deacon at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. A good and faithful servant. Some of his favorite scriptures were Psalms 23, Psalms 27, and Psalms 91.
Gene Otis was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lonnie Ray Ferrill.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Annie “Earlene” Adams; one son, Charles Eugene Adams(Victoria) of Atalanta, GA; one daughter, Tabbotha Cheney Adams-Jones of Meridian, MS; grandchildren: Santorrian Drakkur Adams of Meridian, MS; Zaire Avanti Jones of Nashville, TN; Zaria Ashanti Jones of Hattiesburg, MS; Ashley E. Adams and Brittany C. Adams, both of Austin, TX; great-grandchildren: Quinton, Jason, Imani and Arianna; one sister, Shirley Hall (Grady) of Cleveland, OH; two brothers: Leon Adams (Loretta) of Stonewall, MS; Douglas Ferrill (Debra) of Meridian, MS; and one sister-in-law, Willie Mae Ferrill; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
