Ms. Geneva Dancy's Obituary
A time to be born Geneva Dancy was born June 10, 1944 in Electric Mills Mississippi. She was the second of six living children born to the union of the late Frank Dancy Sr. and Bernice Oliver Dancy. At an early age, Geneva attended Bodka Valley Baptist Church where she was baptized. Later she joined El Bethel Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health failed. She graduated from High School in Kemper County. Geneva was a very loving and giving person. She firmly believed in trusting God totally. She had an unwavering faith. On Sunday morning, May 24, 2020, Geneva was called to rest at The Oaks Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by parents, and three siblings. Geneva leaves to cherish her memories: A devoted sister Bernice Oaks (Ollie); Sister Bertha Ramsey; Sister Juanita Newell; Two brothers, Frank Dancy Jr. (Gloria) and Hervey Lee Dancy (Faye) all of Meridian, Ms.; One aunt, Madie Dancy of Scooba, Ms.; Two devoted nieces, Lisa and Stephanie Walk and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
