George Lee Alexander was born on June 12, 1967, to Mr. Eddie George Alexander and Mrs. Dorothy Pickett in Meridian, MS. He departed this life on March 28, 2020 at his residence.
George grew up I Meridian and was a product of the Meridian Public School System. He accepted Christ at an early age and became united with Saint John Missionary Baptist Church.
George was a person who has always been laid back, cool, calm, and collected. He loved to joke around and have fun with his family and friends. he also loved listening to the blues.
George leaves to mourn his passing, but cherish his memories: his mother, Dorothy Pickett; his children: Nyesha Williams (Tommy), of Baton Rouge, LA; George Williams of Meridian, MS; his fiancé, Brenda Griffin; two step-daughters: Calina Young and Monique Griffin, both of Meridian, MS; four sisters: Lisa Sheffield, Mary Pickett Rush (John Henry), Lina Faye Sheffield and Lizzie Mae Ball, all of Meridian, MS; eight brothers: Eddie Lee Pickett, Dewayne Sheffield, Lovell Sheffield, Tommy Franklin, and William Franklin, all of Meridian, MS; three grandchildren: Geliyah Williams, Cinyla Griffin and Aiden Jones, all of Meridian, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
