He was preceded in death by his parents Earnestine C. Rush and James D. Rush: Brother's Phillip Rush, and James Otis Rush : Aunt Bessie E. Hudson, Uncles Steve Campbell and Billy Ray Campbell and a Brother-n-law Willie R. Grace. George (Quick) was loved by all who knew now him and will truly be missed. He leaves to cherish his many memories: 3 sons: David Sanchez Goree (Tanisha). (St. Louis, Missouri) Darius Goree (Raleigh, North Carolina) David Lavert Smith, Meridian, MS; sisters: Dorothy Grace, Emma (Elmo) Grace, Trisha (Wayne) Clark, Brothers; Johnny Rush, Lendon Rush, John (Mary Ann) Rush, Ricky (Mary Ann) Rush, Mark Rush all of Meridian, MS; aunts Mary Parker and Elevada McCoy of Meridian, MS; Uncle Edward Campbell of Meridian, MS; 9 Grandkids; a very special niece and nephew: Zacaria King and Derrell Sims; and host of Nieces and Nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
