Mrs. Georgia Jean (Randle) Walker's Obituary
Georgia Jean (Randle) Walker the oldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Lawson Morris who preceded her in death was born on July 3, 1942. She transited on August 21, 2016 at Rush Memorial Hospital with family and friends to witness her home going. Mrs. Georgia J. attends St. Joseph Catholic School and later Mount Barton. She confessed Christ at a young age and joined Saint Mary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. D.L. Dixon. Thereafter, marrying she moved to North Carolina and joined the church there. Georgia later moved back home where she joined Mt. Horem Baptist Church. She was faithful there until her death. She was a very loving and kind person who captured the heart of many old & young with her kindness. Mrs. Walker was a very dedicated worker; she retired from the city of North Carolina, and later moved to Meridian to work at Southeast High Scllool until her health started to decline. She worked for Dr. & Mrs. Moore, Mr. & Mrs. Estelle Wilson, and Mr. & Mrs. Chatam, whom loved her dearly and accepted her as a part of their family. She was married to Mr. Bennie C. Walker who preceded her in death, whom she loved with surpass measure. A Stepson, Bennie Thomas and two nieces that she came to love as her own Chasity Graham and Ja'Miriah Robinson. She leaves to cherish her memories five sisters: Helen Morris (Walter), Jeanette Morris (Ohio), Wilmer Bebley (Curtis), Loretta Robinson (Eugene) and Rosie Lofton (Meridian). She has four brothers Bobby Randle (Barrie), Lawson Morris (Lois), Winford Morris, and Henry Morris. She leaves to cherish three sister-in-laws Pearlie Randle (Detroit) Susie Mae Little, and Mary Portis. She also leaves to cherish one brother-in-law to cherish her memories Essie Walker. She leaves to cherish one Uncle Cecil Randle, she has a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends whom she loved dearly and spoke proudly of and she enjoyed being their auntie & friends. Especially, Mrs. Johnny Williams in who departed their lives about a month apart. She is preceded in death by one brother Sylvester Morris,and three brother-in-laws; T.C. Walker, Cecil Walker, and L.C. Walker. Also three sister-in-laws; AlFaye Morris, Katie Brewster, and Katherine Walker.
