Gerald Wayne Jackson, 64, departed this life on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Gerald was born January 4, 1952 in Meridian, MS to Ruth and Willie James Jackson (deceased). At an early age, Gerald confessed his belief in Christ and pledged his membership with Mount Olive Baptist Church, Meridian, MS. He attended Meridian Public Schools and graduated from Harris High School, 1970. He also attended Meridian Jr College. Gerald is survived by his mother, Ruth Jackson, Meridian, brother David Jackson, Pennsylvania and sister Alice Manuel, Meridian, MS. One nephew (KT) and niece (Brit). Two aunts, Gladys McWilliams and Gertha Ree Price both of Meridian. A special friend, Camilla Smith. A host of cousins, who are more like brothers and sisters, and friends.
