Ms. Gladys Juanita Greenwood's Obituary
Gladys Greenwood was born on January 20th, 1922 in Kemper Springs, Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late Louvenia and Orie Butler. She was converted at an early age at Kemper Springs Baptist Church. As a young woman she moved to Meridian, MS and attended Mallalieu United Methodist Church. Gladys graduated from TJ Harris High School. She later united in Matrimony to Edgar Greenwood and they moved to New York City where God blessed them with one daughter, the late Janie Manley and one son, Willard Greenwood (NYC). She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, Siblings, Dorothy Blanks, Orie Butler, Jr. and the Reverend Ben Butler; her Son, Willard Greenwood; her Grandchildren, Sinclair Manley, Vanessa Fudge, Gabriel Manley, and April Greenwood; and a host of other sorrowful nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and friends. She will be dearly and greatly missed.
