Mrs. Gloria Mae Anderson's Obituary
Gloria Mae Anderson (Hersey) was born on April the 25th 1962 in Meridian, MS to Ms. Lorene Hersey and the late Mr. David Gathrite, Jr. She attended the Meridian Public School system and was a member of the New Life Independent Missionary Baptist Church of Meridian, MS.
Glo Mae was self employed owning and managing her own rental properties for 10 plus years in which she met and befriended numerous people. She also worked Happily as a Personnel Care Assistant (PCA) for the Southern Home Private Care -home assistance program; along with helping and assisting family and friends in any way. She departed life here on earth late January 30th, 2019 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian MS. Her Loving Memories Will Be Deeply Cherished By Her Husband; Aaron Anderson, Her Mother; Lorine Hersey, One Daughter; LaQuanta Hudson (Maurice), One Son; Tarik Anderson, One Step,Daughter; Kierra Sims, One Brother; Toney Hersey, Three Grandchildren; Tariah Mouton, Kisani & Kishaun Hudson, All of Meridian MS. Her Memories Will Also Be Cherished By Two Nephews; Ricky Hersey & Ernest Ray Daniels, One Niece; Vanitra Hersey, Three Aunts; Lucille Hersey of Meridian,Ms, Brenda Brown (Dallas) Of Jackson, MS & Gloria Gathrite Of Los Angeles, CA, Four Uncles; Jimmy Gathrite Of Jackson, MS, Rodney Mosley ,Willie Gathrite, & Larry Mosely All Of Los Angeles, CA. Her Beloved Drake Family; Host of Great Nieces and Nephews; Mother,ln-Law; Dorothy Anderson & Father-in-law, Henry C Anderson, Two Brothers-iniLaw; Terry Qanice) And Richard (Tina) Anderson Of Meridian MS, And One Sister-ln-LawTracy (Roscoe) Cole Of Kemper MS. She also had a host of other relatives & friends but especially; Lilly Walker, David (Maxine) Pringle, Jackie Sanders, Ferleisi Bray, Dorothy Moore, Jenelle Spinks, Roddrick White, Sylvia Jones, Babs Hairston, Talisha Willis, Mattie Collins, Mary Crockett (Robert) And Carol Brown.
