Ms. Gloria Helen Brooks, the daughter of Sarah Davis and Charlie B. Blakney was born January 20, 1954 in Shubuta, MS Ms. Gloria Brooks, 64 departed her life on August 26, 2018. She was in death by her father Charlie B. Blakney, grandmothers Mary (Molly) Mcclendon and Sadie Mae Blakney, a loving aunt, Ethel Mae Clayton and uncle Willie Clayton, a loving brother Joe Wallace. She was a dedicated worker for many years. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, and crafting. For many years she helped with the rearing of her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She leaves to cherish her loving daughter Stacia (Shun) Young of Quitman, MS, grandson K'Brion Young of Fort Huachua, AZ, granddaughter J'Stasia Young of Quitman, MS. Mother Sarah M. Davis, two sisters Sarah Clayton and Rosie Butler, all of Quitman, MS. Two brothers, Jessie (Candice) Smith, Quitman, MS and Jimmy Dale Davis of Toomsuba, MS. A Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
