Ms. Gloria D. Cole Smith was born September 3, 1960 to the late JC and Mary Lee Gowdy Cole. Gloria departed this life Monday, September 12, 2022 at Anderson Regional Medical Center Meridian, MS. Gloria was known for her nearly 30 years as a state employee. Her witty, straight forward approach won the hearts of many. Preceding Gloria Smith in death was her father, JC Cole, mother, Mary Lee Cole, son, Tavares Unthrel Smith, sister, Rose Mary Gowdy Graham, brother, Tyrone Davis Cole, and beloved friend Patricia Faye Flowers Phillps (who was like a sister). Gloria leaves to cherish her memories two daughters Greisha (Bobby) Naylor, Chevonna ''Pokey" Smith. Two grandaughters Valin Rose Naylor, and Gloriana-Grace Naylor, Two , brothers James ''Bo Dilly" Cole of Columbus, GA, Charles Cole of Meridian, MS and her younger sister/roll dawg, ace coon boon Chever Cole of Meridian, MS and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family, community family, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints family.
