Mr. Grady Lee Jackson's Obituary
Grady Lee (Pap) Jackson was born June 5, 1942 in Lauderdale County, Mississippi to the late Major Jackson and the late Ola Myer S. Grady accepted Christ later in life. Grady attended Elizabeth School in Lauderdale, Mississippi. He worked as an attendant at Wedgeworth Service Station for a number of years. Grady, also known "Boy Son", loved watching TV especially Westerns. He also enjoyed listening to music. He was a kind-hearted man who had a few favorite sayings: "Don't put your foot in my face or you gonna come back with a nub." Another one of his favorite saying was "You gonna find out the hard way." The last one was "I don't play with other folks' chilluns". Grady was preceded in death by his mother, father, four sisters and one brother. He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters: Carrie Barrett and Dorothy Jackson of Meridian and Geneva Pollard of Birmingham, Alabama, one sister-in-law, Lillie Jackson of Meridian; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
