Mr. Grover Cleveland Burrage's Obituary
Grover Cleveland Burrage was born on January 20, 1955 to the Late Cleveland Burrage, JR and Hattie Sue Taylor from Meridian, MS. He accepted Christ at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Where he attended until his health failed him. He attended West Lauderdale & Meridian High School where he played football and ran track. He also attended Meridian Community College. He later married Gwendolyn Jean Kennedy Burrage and with this union a son was born, Terrance Dawain Kennedy. Grover was proceeded in death by one brother, Larry Burrage and one sister, Melaine Burrage. He leaves to cherish his memories four sons: Darrell Coulton Jermaine Glenn, Cleveland Coulton and Terrence Kennedy. Three daughters: Antonio, Tomiko and Jamie(Derrick Gordon, Sr.) Ten sisters: Alice Faye (Frankie, Sr.) Cistrunk, Fannie Burrage, Peggy Westerfield, Irene (Fred) Cross, Wilahmena (Raymond) Ruffin, Caroline Lewis Thomas, Catherine Lewis, Wanda Burrage, Annette Taylor, Cora R. Windom( Kevin Hudson). Five brothers: James Burrage, Timothy Burrage, Alvin( Lahoma) Taylor, Wayne (Mattie) Davis. He also leaves to cherish sixteen grandkids and three great-grandkids and host of nieces, nephew, cousin and friends. He had several close friends: Elizabeth Couldon, Diane Glenn, Kenneth (Anita) Kennedy, Tyrone Lanier, Brett Rodger, OE Lovett, Henry (Betty) Moore and Lamar Jenkins.
