Mr. Hal Trotter's Obituary
Mr. Hal Trotter was born to the late Mr. John Hal Trotter and Mrs. Leone K. Trotter in Vossburg, Mississippi on March 18, 1925.
During his early childhood he joined the Salem Missionary Baptist Church. He served on the Deacon Board and was a faithful member until his health failed. Mr. Trotter served in the United States Army. Hal was also a member of the Gibraltar #471 in Barnett’s, MS. He departed this life on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Diversacare of Meridian, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John Hal and Leona Trotter; a son, Jimmy Fikes; brothers, Aaron (Amanda) Manning, John Delvin, Porter and Robert Trotter; sisters, Millie Mae and Ora Trotter, Rosie Hinkly and Dora Little.
He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his loving memories: wife, Bertha Trotter; three sons, Hal, Walter (Denise) and John Trotter (MJ); two daughters, Angela Booker, VA, Frankie Mitchell, GA; two sisters, Stella R. Trotter and Berna Johnson of Meridian, MS; a special God child Asia Turner and a host of sorrowing grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
