Ms. Hattie Frances Mosley was born in Kemper County on August 26, 1930 to John and Ada Dean. God in his infinite wisdom sent Hattie F. Mosley into this life to the union of Jessie Mosley and to this union a son, Cecil Mosley was born.
Hattie Mosley accepted Christ at an early age. She was a loyal and faithful member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She served many capacities in the church, including church secretary, served as an usher and also active in the Missionary Society. Hattie Mosley was also a Daughter of Isis of Easter Star.
On Saturday, December 17, 2016, Ms. Hattie Frances Mosley transcended from this dwelling to her eternal home. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ada Dean; her devoted husband, Jessie Mosley and her son, Cecil Mosley, 5 sisters- Effie, Minnie, Fannie, Helen and Mary; six brothers: Edgar, John, Robert, A.W., James and Andrew. Hattie Mosley leaves to cherish her memories: one brother, Leo Payton; Earl Lee Payton of Compton California and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
