Mrs. Helen Jean Peterson's Obituary
Helen Jean Peterson departed this life unexpectedly at the age of 60 in Meridian, MS, Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Helen was the daughter of the late Junior and Lillie Mae Nash. Helen Jean married early in life to Mr. Gerald Dwayne Peterson. She attended Middleton Attendance center and later transferred to North East High School.
Helen lived in Mississippi all her life and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Helen was the mother of four children: Anderson Dewayne Peterson of Delaware, Sadie Peterson, Derrick Peterson and Thomas Peterson of Meridian, MS and three grandchildren. She is also survived by Carrie Nash of Delaware, Deborah Clayton of Meridian, Dorene Drake of Jacksonville, Florida, Willie Nash of Brunswick, Georgia, Anderson Nash of Meridian, Dorothy Blunt of Daytona Beach, Florida, Emma Johnigan of Jacksonville, Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by Lillie Clark, Leana McNeal and Bettie Nash.
