Mr. Henry Lee Clark, Sr.'s Obituary
Henry Lee Clark, Sr. entered the world on August I, 1939 in Meridian, MS, to the late Lige Clark and the late Lucille Clark. He departed this life on July 16, 2019 at his residence. Henry Lee Clark Sr. was known to the community as ··sunny Buddy'". The one we loved and cherished stepped across the threshold that we call death, but it was only a step into another room, and not stepping out of the fellowship of life. His life's work on this side of heaven was done. God was ready for him. This kind, compassionate, hardworking, life of the party and loving man will be truly missed by many. The memories of his generosity, love, and kind words that will forever be in the hearts and minds of the lives he touched. He confessed to Christ at an early age, where he joined Zion Hill United Methodist Church. He was employed at Masonite and later worked at Atlas Roofing until he retired to enjoy his life. On July 22, 1966 he united in holy matrimony to Nona Clark and to this union 7 children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Jonathan Clark; his three brothers L.C. 'Porkchop' Clark, Tom Clark, June T 'J.T.' Clark, seven sisters Willie M. Clark, Mammie T. Tillman, Mary Louise Jones, Emma Lucille Clark, Mammie Lee Kelly, Annie Alford, Mary F. Russell, and a son-in-law John Henry Landrum; Two brothers-in-laws Cassie D. Tillman and James Lamar Jones, sister-n-law Azaleas Clark and a special friend Johnnie Mae Wright. He leaves to cherish his memories children Sherry Dover of Lawrenceville, GA; Lee Arthur (Donna) Clark, Henry Lee Clark Jr., Tonya Clark, Wenona Clark, Haley Clark, Joshua Clark all of Meridian, MS; Jeremiah Clark of Jackson, MS; two brothers Prince Ratcliff of Meridian, MS; Mack Arthur (Ethel) Clark of Mobile, AL; two sisters Annie Lee (Roy) Ford of Carthage, MS; Daisy Mae Ratcliff of Meridian, MS; Sister-in-law Mattie Clark of Meridian, MS; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he loved dearly.
