Mr. Hildred Jones' Obituary
Minister Hildred E. Jones was born on October 22, 1968 to the late Henry and Geraldine Jones in Laurel, MS. He transitioned this life at Piedmont Hospital in Covington, GA on Friday, February 26, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Gloria Altman and one brother, John Henry Robertson. He attended Quitman School District and graduated with the Class of 1986. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and served until his honorable discharge in 1989 as a Sergeant (E5). He united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Ann Jackson Jones on July 28, 1990. Hildred joined the Tabernacle Family Worship Center in Decatur, GA where he was ordained as a Minister and served faithfully until his death. He was employed as a Credit Manager at Car Mart and as a Licensed H-VAC. 8-l leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Mary Ann Jones; his five children, Keithen Jones of Atlanta, GA, Tyriece Jackson, Felandrius Jackson, both of Racine WI, Kerry Jackson of Lilburn, GA and Krystal Jackson of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Sylvia (Odell) Evans, Cynthia (Eddie) Floyd, both of Quitman, MS and Chiquita (John) Webster of Meridian, MS; four brothers, Richard (Mary) Robertson of Shubuta, MS, Keith Robertson of Minnesota, Eric (Annika) Jones of Conyers, GA and Franklin Jones of Milwaukee, WI; 18 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
