Mrs. Ida Bell Clay's Obituary
Mrs. Ida Bell Clay was born in Porterville, MS on June 1, 1932 to Mr. Nadine and Mrs. Lula Mobley Moore. Ida confessed her belief in Christ at an early age. She was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. Mrs. Clay was married to Mr. Charlie Clay for 62 years.
Ida transitioned to her heavenly home on May 18, 2016 at Bedford Care Center in Marion, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nadine and Lula Moore; children: Charlie Clay, Betty Irby and Rita Clay; 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted husband, Charlie Clay; four children, Robert Lee Holiday (Anna Holiday), Sharon Barrett (Billy Ray Barrett), Shirley O’Neal and Annie Pearl Carter; one sister, Lula Moore Love; 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
