Mrs. Ira Renae Donald-Delk's Obituary
Ira Renae (Nae) Donald-Delk was born to Minnie Lee and Isom Davis on February 20, 1957 in Lauderdale County Mississippi. She departed this life on Sunday, March 22nd, 2015 at Rush Hospital. Renae began her spiritual\journey at an early age at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church in Battlefield, Mississippi. Later she moved and united with Friendship Baptist Church in Collinsville, Mississippi. Her spiritual journey continued and allowed her to unite with other churches. She never lost sight of keeping an ongoing relationship with her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Lee Davis and her father Isom Davis. Renae began her education at Hanis High School, Hickory, MS. She continued there until 1972 when she began attending Beulah Hubbard High School in Little Rock, MS. until she graduated She also continued her education at Meridian Junior College. She worked in various capacities of service, bringing a smile to everyone's face she met She leaves to cherish her memories a husband, Adam Delk; 3 daughters Latoria Timeko Donald-Keys (Michael), of Tupelo, MS; Stephanie Lanise Donald Coolev (Gerald) of Heidelberg, MS; and Shalana Lanae Donald (Willie) of Meridian, MS. She leaves 3 loving granddaughters to cherish her memory; Little Miss Sa'Riyvah Renea, Makayla, and Makenzie all of Meridian, MS. She leaves behind 4 sisters; Glona Bloodsaw (Hubert) of Little Rock, MS; Patricia Davis of Little Rock, MS; Cynthia Marie Davis of Stafford, VA., and Minnie Weathersby (Terry) of Walnut Grove, MS.; 2 brothers, Rodney Rogers and Lee Lewis (Rochelle) both of Meridian, MS.; 3 aunts, Betty Davis of Meridian, MS, Bonnie Sims of Collinsville, MS.; Mary Tims (Jake) of Little Rock, MS. She leaves behind 14 nieces and nephews to cherish her memory and a host of friends.
