Mrs. Isabell Hopson's Obituary
Mrs. Isabell Hubbard Hopson was born on January 27th 1954 to the late Daniel and Eleser Hubbard in Kemper County, Mississippi. She departed this life on Monday October 23, 2023 at Anderson Regional Hospital. Isabell confessed Christ at an early age joining Mt Cephus Primitive Baptist Church in Portersville, MS where she remained a member until her transition. She was a devoted member of the choir, who loved worshipping at her church on Sundays. She loved her family and openly expressed her immense love for her children. She was a dedicated employee who hated missing work and worked diligently until she retired. Isabell was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years Charles Lee Hopson, her parents, 12 brothers and 3 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons Charles Deon (Breona) Hopson of Calera, AL, and Marcus Hopson of Hendersonville, TN; two daughters La Toya (Durelle) Bishop and Crystal Hopson both of Alabaster, AL, two stepsons, Curtis Charles (Janie) Lowe of Jackson, MS and Cortez (Regina) Blanks of Lauderdale, MS; three step daughters Tammie (Eugene) Smith of Toomsuba, MS, Winifred Baskins of Stone Mountain, GA and Carolyn (David) Parker of Lauderdale, MS; two sisters Arnita Clayton of Portersville, MS and Margie Elliott of Merdian, MS; Nine grandchildren and a host of step grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
