He was an awesome father, proud grandfather, and an overjoyed great grandfather. "Pop" was a loving, fun and dedicated brother who loved every moment he could share with his siblings. He was a helpful uncle and brother-in-law. If you were ever blessed to know him or be his friend, you knew how special and loved he made you feel. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Lodge 298 in Forest, Mississippi and a volunteer fireman for the Meehan Fire Department in Meehan, Mississippi where he always tried to be the first on the scene. He truly loved volunteering and especially loved all the friends he made during his service. He Departed this life on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, Mississippi. God saw the road getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered, "my child peace be thine."
