Mr. J.C. (Mac) McMillian, Jr.'s Obituary
J.C. McMillian was born on September 4, 1945 to the late J.C. And Clara McMillian Sr. in Meridian, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Laverne McMillian, one sister, Sarah Hill, two brothers, Willie and J.W. McMillian, one granddaughter, Tashea (Cee Cee) Sims.
J.C. McMillian gave his life to Christ and became a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He served as a faithful member until he later moved his member ship to 31st Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of McMillian Security where he served others until his health began to fail. He was loyal and dedicated to serving others. He also worked for Meridian Housing Authority, Meridian Public Schools and Alliance Mental Health.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Sharon (John) Grace and Barbara Coleman, both of Meridian, MS; two sons, Adrian Wayne McMillian of Los Angeles, CA and Jason Price of Meridian, M; a step-daughter, Kittra Hudnall of Meridian, MS; three brothers, Reverend Cephus (Shirley) McMillian, Jerry and Ronnie McMillian all of Meridian, MS; six sisters, Beatrice Brown, Faye Griffin, Dela Gordon, Ida Mae Harris, Flora (Leo) Rodgers all of Meridian, MSand Ida McMillian of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
