Jacoby “Coby” Terelle Davis was born on April 21, 1992 in Meridian, MS to Tasha Davis Turner and Tony Gill. Jacoby was called to his heavenly home on July 19, 2017 in Jackson, MS.
Jacoby confessed his life and accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Savannah Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorship of Rev. Darious Edmonson. Jacoby was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Willie James McCoy and great grandmother, Jenny Mae McCoy.
He was a devoted husband and father. He leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife, Brittany Davis of Meridian, MS; four sons, Ja’zyreion Davis, Johndarius Bolden, Jacoby Davis, Jr., J’ciyon Davis all of Meridian, MS; one daughter, Harmoni Davis of Meridian, MS; loving mother, Tasha (Tommy) Turner of Meridian, MS; loving father, Tony Gill of Meridian, MS; five loving sisters, Dorothea Davidson, Sherika McMillian, Labrazzier Thomas, Shaneka Thomas and Mamie Thomas all of Meridian, MS; three devoted brothers, Johnny Horn, Jr. and Jaylen Sims of Meridian, MS, Antonio Clark of Fort Lauderdale, FL; maternal grandparents, Willie (Joanna) Davis and paternal grandmother, Linda Faye Richardson all of Meridian, MS; a very loving great-great aunt, Flossie Boose of Meridian, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly and will truly miss him.
