Jamarkee Anterrio Jones (Duke) was born June 3, 1994. He was one of four children born Harvey L. Jones and Bernice Walker. Jamarkee departed his life at the age of 20, in Meridian, MS on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Jamarkee had a spirit that was larger than life. It was due to his love of life that enabled him to touch multiple people. He did it in the ways of his entertaining sense of humor, his fascinating smile, and with just plain and simple words of kindness. Jamarkee made friends wherever he went. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life: his parents; Harvey L. Jones and Bernice Walker. His sisters; Regina Walker of Leavenworth, KS, and TaShonti Hodges of Meridian, MS. His brothers; Harvey Demarcus Jones of Meridian, MS, Amir Jones of Rock Chester, NY, and Jamarcus Jones of Rock Chester, NY, nephews; Ty Marious Dunnigan, J.C. Vione Dunnigan, and Christopher Jones all of Leavenworth, KS, niece; Ty Riana Lacey of Leavenworth, KS, grandmother; Desma Re Walker of Meridian, MS. A special friend; Ms. Brittney Leggette of Meridian, MS, her kids; Javonte Leggette, Jamarik Leggette, and Alayria Leggette all of Meridian, MS, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jamarkee is preceded in death by his grandfather J.C. Ramsey, and a grandmother, Cammie Mae Dawson.
