Mr. James Dawson was born January 10, 1943, to the late Willie Pratt and Janie Dawson Pratt. He was one of six siblings born in Lauderdale, Mississippi. He was predeceased by: his wife, Juanita Dawson; his mother, Janie McDowell Dawson Pratt; father, Willie Pratt; one brother, Willie B. Pratt; three sisters: Betty Pratt Dean, Cleo Clayton, and Leola Pratt.
On August 1, 2020, God saw that he was getting weary and allowed him to take his rest.
