Mr. James Howard Leggett's Obituary
James Howard Leggett was born December 21. 1966 in Meridian Mississippi to Mrs. Annie and the late Mr. Obie Leggett. James Howard attended St. John M. B. Church, Meridian Mississippi at an early age. He later united with Bridge Builders Christian Fellowship Church. James Howard after high school joined the United States Navy and after serving his country he return to Meridian, Mississippi where he was an automobile mechanic by trade and love to farm. He was a cheerful person who love to laugh and talk with everyone he met. He was proceeded in death by his father Obie Leggett, Sr., siblings Obie Leggett, Jr., Elijah Leggett, Wanda Leggett and grandparents. He departed this life May 24, 2019 at Anderson Hospital, Meridian Mississippi He was loved by many and will truly be missed. He leaves to cherish his memories: mother AJ111ie Leggett; Meridian, MS; one son James (Carlisha) Leggett; one daughter Arianns (Demetric) Culpepper; Meridian, MS; three sisters Matricia Leggett, Phanicia {Tommy) Lake, and Paris Hopson all of Meridian, MS; one brother Ayman Hassan (Anita) of Porterville, MS; six grandchildren who he loved, Jamal, Jaqaylen, A'Niya, Alyssa, Aleah, and Laylah; aunts Annie Fay Hopson, Lauderdale, MS; Zelia Ann Baylor, New Orleans LA; Earlie Mae Lewis, Lauderdale, MS; Glenda Leggett, Dekalb, MS; great aunts Bertha Moore, Meridian, MS; Minnie Donald of Romulus, MI; "special brother" Lafayette Bolden, special friends Ronald Matthew, Danielle Curry, Christopher Bush, Joe Rogers, Willie Bourdeaux and James Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
