Mrs. Janie M. Ramsey's Obituary
Janie Mae Gowdy - Ramsey was born August 30th, 1928 to the late Richard Gowdy and Mittie Hudnall (Gowdy) in Kemper County, MS.
Ms. Janie Mae accepted Christ at an early age and later rededicated her life to Christ at Oak Grove CME Church. Later she married the late Bobbie Ramsey of Daleville, MS. She was the mother of 6 children, 5 of which proceeded her in death, Lillie Sue Davis (John), Robert Gowdy, Bobbie Jr, Georgia Mae Ramsey Brown (James), and Lester Clyde Ramsey (Deborah). She is survived by her youngest daughter Gayle
Dianne White of Porterville, MS.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Gayle White one brother James (Nun) Gowdy (Lucille) both of Lauderdale Ms. She also leaves to cherish 16 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
