Mrs. Jannie D. Morgan's Obituary
On October 25 1930, Mrs. Jannie Morgan was born to the late Mary Jones. On September 24, 2022 God saw fit to have his angel to return home, for her work here on this earth was complete. While at LeCom Nursing Home the journey of life ended with the same one heartbeat from whence it began.
When Mrs. Jannie was young she accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Church of Heidelberg, MS where she was a member until she departed this life. Mrs. Jannie loved her family, friends, and community. She was united in matrimony to the Late Fred Morgan, May 25, 1946. This year made 76 years. To this union seven children was born: She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Jones; her son Wilbert (Boot) Morgan; and two sisters: Parthenia Porter and Herchenia Milsap.
Mrs Jannje leaves to honor her legacy and memory: her six beautiful daughters: Mary Ulmer, Dilcy Sansom, Helen Buckner, Verna Morgan all of Erie PA; Shirley Donald of Quitman, MS; Cynitha Morgan of Vossburg, MS; one daughter-in-law, Mary Morgan of Central South Carolina; Sixteen grandchildren, fifty-two great grandchildren, and thirty-six great-great grandchildren; She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
