Mr. Jaylan Tell's Obituary
Jaylan Ja’Marion Tell was born August 17, 2010 in Meridian, Mississippi to loving parents Jocelyn Clayton and Livarious Tell. As a young boy, Jaylan was happy, caring, nurturing, intelligent, rambunctious, fun, funny, and adventurous. Jaylan was an eight grade student at Northwest Middle School where he was a member of the band. He was well known for his charisma, sense of humor, bright smile, warm laugh, and friendly demeanor. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him inevitably loved him. Jaylan spent most of his time and energy with those he loved. He was an avid gamer, and he also had a passion for rapping. In the early morning hours of Monday, January 1, 2024, Jaylan was called back into the arms of Jesus. His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his parents, Jocelyn Clayton and Livarious Tell; stepfather, Tommy Hart; brothers, Jy'Darius Tell and Jy'Dariun Clayton; sisters, Ny' Asia Carpenter and Shnyiiia Kelley; paternal grandmother, Amanda Wilson; aunts, Jacqueline Clayton and Avis Perry (Tiffany); uncles, Jaylen King and Aaron Tell; and his cousin, Jha'Keilah Clayton. He also leaves a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends that are mourning this great loss. Jaylen was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Clayton, maternal great-grandmother, Carol Clayton, paternal grandfather, Little Junior Stephens, paternal stepgrandfather, Johnny Wilson; and his aunt, Sophia Tell.
