Mr. Je'Cory Binard Hudson's Obituary
With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude. Je' Cory Binard Hudson, 29 of Meridian MS, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2023. Je'Cory was born on June 2, 1994 to Tamara Hudson Gillespie and Jeffery (Bo) Hudson at Rush Hospital. As a youth Je Cory was blessed with another loving father L.L. Gillespie.
He attended Meridian Public Schools and was baptized at an early age at Hubbard Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Lauderdale, MS. Je'Cory loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church especially to those that were within walking distance for him. I'd call and ask was he ready for church and he'd tell me he was already in church. To me it didn't matter what church as long as he was in there. Je' Cory worked several jobs but found his passion working outside doing lawn care services with Jeff Powe. No matter what other jobs he had he would make sure he made time to work with Jeff.
He was proceeded in death by his father Jeffery Bo Hudson, Grandfathers Algene Hudson, Lavelle Kennedy and Aunt LaRhonda Clay.
Je Cory is survived by his devoted family. His mother Tamara Gillespie (L.L Gillespie) daughter Lakenzie Hudson, bothers Toriano Hudson and Keelan Gillespie, sisters Latoria Hudson, Kadaisha Gillespie, Jaloria Hudson and Keeley Gillespie, Grandfathers Samuel Merriweather, Larry Jackson (Vera Jackson). Grandmothers Sharon Merriweather and Betty Kennedy: Great Grandmother Leola Harris Nephews: Asa Hare, Toriano Hudson Jr., Zylan Gillespie and Greyson Williams. Nieces: Bailey Hare, Serenity Gillespie, Taliah Hudson and Jakayla Lewis. Aunts Simone Jones Windham (David Windham) Eureaka Holcomb (James), April Adams, Sherene Adams, Lauren Jackson. Uncles: Richard Treadwell, Richard Adams, Marvin Cummings, Anthony Cummings, Keith Cummings. A host of Great Uncles, Great Aunts, Cousins, Family and Special Friends that earned the titles of Uncles and Aunts.
