Ms. Jeanette Burrage's Obituary
Ms. Jeanette Burrage was born on September 14, 1957 in Union, Mississippi to the late LJ and Mildred Burrage.
Jeanette attended the Meridian Public School System where she was a Meridian High School graduate of the Class of 1976. In 1978, she completed her Culinary Arts Degree from Meridian community College.
For over twenty years, Jeanette worked at Mississippi Health Care Center. She was also employed with Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, MS, Laurelwood Center and Alliance Health Care in Meridian.
Jeanette did not meet a stranger. She was always ready and willing to help anyone she could. She also loved to dance and sing.
Mane Jeanette, as we knew her, had a passion for cooking. She loved preparing special meals for her family’s enjoyment. Her meals gave family and friends memories that will last a lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Johnny Earl Burrage.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, Mama Jeanette entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
she is survived by her daughter, Monika Burrage; siblings: Peggy, Carolynn, Shirley, and Terry; her long companion: Will Miller and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
