Mr. Jeffrey James Anderson, Sr.'s Obituary
Jeffrey James Anderson Sr., age 56, entered eternal life on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Jeffrey was born in Racine, Wisconsin on October 20, 1963 to Albert and Marie (nee: Hardaway) Anderson. Jeffrey attended school in the Racine Unified Schools system, graduating from Washington Park high school, class of 1981. For two summers (after his sophomore and junior years) Jeffrey worked as a lifeguard at Washington Park Pool. During high school, Jeffrey was a great student athlete. He played football and ran track. He received many medals in track, received liis letter in both sports, and became a member of the Letterman's club. After high school Jeffrey attended the University ofWisconsin Eau Claire, where he ran track. He later transferred to Concordia College (Now Concordia University) in Mequon Wisconsin where he played football. Jeffrey grew up in Second Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Mack C. Davis. Later in life he joined Zoe outreach ministries, under the leadership of Reverend Melvin Hargrove. Jeffrey was last employed by Henkel Corporation. He, also, worked for InSinkErator (Emerson Electric), and Case Corporation. While between jobs, Jeffrey enrolled in the Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Program at Gateway Technical College, He completed all certifications required to become certified CNC Operator. In his spare time, Jeffrey played guitar and loved to roller skate. Jeffrey leaves to cherish his precious memories; his children Shennell Rowe and Jeffrey James Anderson Jr.; his grandchildren Prince and Princess Anderson; his sister Johnnie Jones; his niece (they grew up together as brother and sister) Cassandra Rani Jones; his great nephew Darien Hutcherson; aunts, Ella Mae Hardaway and Dr. Joyce Frazier Hardaway; uncle Arthur Anderson; his dedicated 4 legged friend Thor; a host of cousins, good friends; lifetime friend Vanessa Oliver and special friend Carrie Petty. Jeffrey is further survived by his godbrothers Beverly Johnson Jr. and Brian Johnson: his godsister Latasha Johnson Wallace; his godchildren Melissa Johnson and Daniel Johnson; great godson Vincent Bevenue IV and Purity and Prosperity Williams. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Marie Anderson; his daughter Jessica Marie Anderson, his grandparents Mayso and Mackie Hardaway; aunts and uncles; Callie Mae (Edgar) Murray, Albert (A.C.) Myra Baskin, Edward (Jessie Pearl), Martin (Mamie Lois), Howard, Charles, Andrew and Woodrow Hardaway; his godparents Beverly and Ruth Johnson Sr. and his best buddy/cousin/brother Vernon Robert Hardaway.
