Mr. Jeremy Dubose's Obituary
Jeremy Devonte Dubose transitioned to spend eternity with our heavenly father on December 25, 2021. Jeremy was born in Meridian, MS on March 16, 1995 to Jeffery Dubose and Dorothy Little. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Johnnie P Dubose and maternal grandmother, Mattie Overstreet. Jeremy gave his life to Christ at an early age at Sunlight Baptist Church, where he participated in various youth activities. Jeremy attended school in the Meridian Public School district. He later graduated from Camp Shelby's Joint Forces Program in Hattiesburg, MS. Jeremy displayed a love for cooking at an early age. Along with his passion for cooking, Jeremy loved to eat good food. Jeremy's culinary abilities led to employment by Weidmann's Restaurant as a short order cook. Jeremy also loved the holiday season, and spending time with his family. Jeremy's other passion was music. He would often spend time in the studio creating music. Jeremy was a loving, humble, and encouraging soul. He was loved by many and he will truly be missed. Jeremy leaves to cherish his precious memory: a loving and devoted father : Jeffery Dubose; his mother: Dorothy Little of Meridian,MS; two sisters: Markita Hudson and JaKaira Little; two brothers: Kentrell McNeil and Kevontay Little ; one niece and one nephew all of Meridian, MS. He also leaves a host of great aunts and uncles: Jessie P Gordon, Meridian, MS.; Emma R. Brown, Suisun, City CA.; Linda A. Hosley, San Diego, CA.; Willie Williams (Molly Ann), Meridian, MS; Shirley Huggins, Meridian, MS; Patricia Ann Overstreet (Curtis), · Lauderdale, MS; Willie D. Overstreet (Annie), Lauderdale, MS; Tony Overstreet (Rolinda), Meridian, MS, and a host of other family members and friends who will truly miss him.
