Mr. Jerry Lowery's Obituary
Mr. Lowery was a New Orleans native and proud Grambling Tiger. He joined the US Navy where he served proudly. He later moved to California and worked on the railroad for several years prior to moving to Meridian, MS.
Jerry lowery accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a faithful member of Savannah Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Lowery was a devoted New Orleans Saints fan and loved music.
Those left to celebrate his life and mourn his passing are: mother, Luther Mae Human (LA); special friend, Martha Beard (MS); children: Damon’s Lowery, Senikia Smith (Carlos) and Novella Branch (Wayne) all of which reside in Texas; sister, Trudy Dunaway (Herbert) (IN); brother, Leroy Lowery, Jr. (Alice) (LA); nine grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; aunt Minnie Alma (LA); one nephew and a host of nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends; special granddaughter, Latoyia Beard.
Those that preceded him in death are his grandmother, Minnie Thomas; father Leroy Lowery Sr. and son Jerry Lowery, Jr.
