Jessie “Dell” Billups was born August 17, 1946 in Meridian, MS to the late Jessie Jackson and Georgia McCelland.
Jessie Billups attended the Meridian Public Schools. She held various jobs but will be remembered as a home healthcare giver.
On October 13, 2017 God saw fit to call another angel home. She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Georgia and one loving son Willie James Jackson and one sister Georgia Mae Jackson, one brother Robert Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Timmie Billups; two daughters, Patricia Jackson and Ty’Wanna Billups and one sister Lela Mae Jackson and grand kids, George (Jessinya) Jackson, Za’wone, Za’Mya, Zy’Keria Townsend, and Ty’quon Billup; also great grand kids Jordan Townsend and Jay’len Jackson; nieces and nephews Kenneth (Penny) Jackson, Derrick Jackson, Ceddric, Brodrick, and Linda McNeal; great nephews and nieces Kenneth, PJ, Jada, Salsanya, and Sorenti
