Mrs. Jessie Pearl Gordon's Obituary
Jessie Pearl Dubose Gordon; transitioned to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father on April 11, 2024 at her home in Meridian, MS. Jessie was born to the late Mary Ellen Williams and Lonzo Dubose in Meridian, MS. on September 25, 1934.
She was proceeded in death by her husband: Leroy Gordon Sr. her daughters Jacqlyn Sims, and Peggy Gordon: her parents:
Mary E. Williams and Lonzo Dubose., her maternal grandpar-ents: Arena Dubose and Sidney Dubose, three brothers: Leslie, James, Harold, Floyd, and her grandson: Willandrius Trotter.
Jessie's childhood memories began growing up in Savanah Grove Baptist Church where she confessed her life to Christ at an early age. After becoming a young women Jessie was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Leroy Gordon and to this union five children were born. She later joined the Sunlight Baptist Church where she gave her best in service under the pasturage of Rev. W.C. Clark. She was an active member until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, A loving daughter:
Shirley Gordon Trotter (Willie) of Meridian MS.: two sons, Leroy Gordon Jr. (Ivon) Desmoine lowa, and Jerry Gordon (Pamela) of Meridian MS. Ten grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn two sisters:
Emma R. Brown Meridian, MS., Linda A. Hosley, San Diego CA., one brother, Willie Williams, Meridian, MS., seven nieces, five nephews and a host of great-grand nieces, great grand nephews, cousins, friends and church family who will miss her dearly.
