Mr. Jimmie D. Grace's Obituary
Jimmie D. Grace was born February 28, 1937 to the late Walter and Rosie (Bee) Grace in Dekalb, MS. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Jimmie Dale gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was baptized by Pastor James Clark and later attended Church of Christ under Pastor William Carrey. He retired from Gibson Steel. He was a hardworking, kind-hearted man. Jimmie Dale leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife, Lula M. Grace, of 60 years, along with his children: Lamie (Brenda) Hearn, Dora Hearn, Dennis Hearn, Marvella (Phillis) Campbell, Margaret Grace, Stephanie Jenkins, and Jimmy Grace, Jr; brothers: James (Anna) Grace and Willie Grace; sisters: Sarah Carter and Jennifer Gowdy; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his father and mother, his daughter,: Mae E. Parnell, sisters: Bonnie Odom, Daisy Jimmerson, Roberta Hearn, JoAnn Sparrow, and Alzena Rush; brothers; Dewey Grace and T.B. Grace; son-in-law: Larry Jenkins; brothers-in-law: Willie Carter, Pepper Odom, James Sparrow, J. W. Rush, and Roosevelt Rush; sisters-inlaw: Oathea Rea Benoman, J. Ruth Hull, and Helen Rush.
