Mr. Jimmy Davis Hubbard's Obituary
Mr. Jimmy Davis Hubbard was born the 4th out of nine children to the late Eleser and Daniel Hubbard on June 4, 1950 and he departed this life on January 23, 2017 at his home in Porterville, MS. He was born in Kemper County (Porterville, MS) and at an early age he professed faith in Jesus Christ.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Ethel Mae Lewis in Porterville, MS on November 8, 1969 and from this union five (5) children were born. Jimmy lived most of his life in New Orleans, LA as a brick mason and his contributions to the job has allowed many tourists and home steamers to enjoy numerous brick and concrete edifices designed from his expertise in the field of brick masonry. Jimmy was a loving and caring person and he was always extremely proud of his wife and children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Hubbard, mother, Eleser Hubbard, his siblings, Tom Hubbard, John Hubbard, Calvin Hubbard, Johnny Hubbard, Edward Hubbard, Gracey Hubbard, Richard Hubbard, Earnest Hubbard, Robert Moore, Lanorah Hubbard and Jimmy Hubbard.
He also leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Ethel Hubbard; 5 children- Amanda Franklin of Hopkinsville, KY; Jimmy (Tracie) Hubbard, Jr. of Cerulean, KY; Danielle (Dewayne) Booker of Meridian, MS, Anthony (Saprina) Hubbard of Dunkirk, Md and April Hubbard of Meridian, MS; four sisters- Johnny (Leroy) Naylor of Laurel, MS; Anita Clayton of Porterville, MS; Isabelle (Charles) Hopson of Lauderdale, MS and Margie Elliot of Meridian, MS; two brothers- Herbert (Ann) Tillman of Junction City, Kansas; Lester (Sophia) Hubbard of Rockford, IL along with a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren & great-grandchildren and other relatives
